So. The "iPad". It looks like essentially the love child of a netbook and a Kindle, with no keyboard. And the name just practically INVITES "high tech tampon" jokes.
Someone really didn't think this one through, did they.
Many people don't get my sense of humor. But yeah, the "magical" references Steve Jobs is making just amuse me that much more because of the people I know and things I've seen.
I am many things, but yes, I dabble a bit in that area.
The answer is always to be MORE clever, not less. He's talking about how magical the new iPad is, and how the last time there was this much buzz about a tablet, it had commandments on it. brb, barfing.
That's not shiny! Vista is like...a light bulb forced into one's eyeball. Yuck.
Martial arts are pretty cool, alright? Don't try to change my mind on that. With all the people in this place that know how to fight, I could understand if you felt as if it were a small feat, but not me, who still remembers the days with people that can't defeat ten armed guys with a plastic spoon.
Like Jackie Chan, who is my hero forever and ever. See? something as little and simple like a screwdriver. I think I need to practice some myself, but after the magic, and the studies, and more magic...no time.

Date: 2010-01-27 09:00 pm (UTC)Dude, I don't know anyone that could defeat ten armed guys with a plastic spoon. Except in a Jet Li movie.
