The evil daystar burns us, my precious!
Oct. 6th, 2004 11:38 amSo, the project is pretty much done, and I have rejoined the real world. Sorry for having been so cranky over the past couple weeks. College classes require a lot more effort.
So, what does everyone else think about this blood drive in NYC and the Red Cross' announcement? I think it's fantastic, and I can't wait. Hope a lot of people turn out for it.
And, uh...does anyone know why Mr. Summers looks like he said mean things about Mike Tyson's mom?

Date: 2004-10-06 04:00 pm (UTC)Yeah, I'm definitely gonna be donating as much as they'll let me, on top of helping, uh, help. I wonder if they'd let me use dupes . . . no, wait, those units'd just go bad once I pulled the dupes back in, nevermind.
And I'm as clueless as you are about Mr. Summers' rearranged face, but that isn't the weird part, the weird part is he's walking around looking . . . I dunno. I think I've seen that expression before . . . y'know, I think the guy looks relaxed. Wiggy. But good.

Date: 2004-10-06 04:15 pm (UTC)What your powers would do to blood donation is a very interesting question. And I imagine they'll have all kinds of stuff for you to do. It really seems like the Red Cross is pushing this thing hard, which is awesome.
Yeah. The phrase you're looking for here is "morbid and creepifying". ;-) Captain Tightpants, relaxed? *grin*

Date: 2004-10-06 04:28 pm (UTC)Hey, though, Mr. Summers has been relaxed before. I mean, remember--no, wait, the amusement park trip last summer was before you got here, wasn't it?
Eugh!
Date: 2004-10-06 04:41 pm (UTC)I asked about it, and I can't give blood at all here. At least, they said, not until they work out how to test for mad cow disease.
But I can help out and feed people, anyway.
