*sigh* Waking up at ohmygodo'clock to drive out to a college campus and take classes bites the big one.

For those of you who haven't been following along, I Am Not A Morning Person. This means that when my girlfriend or anyone else comes in to try and wake me up before a decent hour (a decent hour is defined here as after 8 at the very least), I am _cranky_. And I am not very nice when I'm cranky.

That being said, the college classes themselves are pretty cool. I'm having fun with a high-level CS course. They weren't going to let me take it, but I got that all settled out. Plus, I'm taking a really interesting course on comparative languages and the roots of human language. The prof is a little fruity, but it's been fascinating so far.

Between that and my current giggling fit, today's been a pretty good day. Minus the early morning, natch.

Do you not have to be 21 to even go into a bar in America?

It depends on the bar. Some require you to be over 21 after a certain time, but some allow you in underage as long as you don't try to buy alcohol.
