The movie was awesome! Had a great time with everyone.
Magic tournament tomorrow! (or later today, if you want to be semantically correct)
Lorna's making waffles for breakfast!
Am awake and wired! As was probably obvious by the overuse of exclamation marks! :)
Will probably stay awake for a while yet, or at least until I get tired enough to get some sleep. Anyone who happens to still be awake is more than welcome to drop by. :)

a pack of wankersalso make believe. Magic don't necessarily need wands and all that shite. So no, I don't have one.I could probably float cnadles for you tho' - levitation's easy enough.
Hey!

Date: 2004-06-06 05:01 am (UTC)Monsters and elves and skeletons. Miles will be very, very upset if we forget his skeletons, because his helped him win the last time he played Doug and he is very proud of himself.
*grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 05:10 am (UTC)And skeletons, right. Can't forget the skeletons.
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 05:14 am (UTC)Jane is not a shapeshifter, strictly speaking, so the spell should not work on her, right? She might turn into a frog-shaped cloud. That could be interesting...
I am told by a small green boy that the skeletons are very, very important.
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 05:24 am (UTC)As for Jane... That is an interesting idea. Not sure I want to try it tho' - she's sort of a shapeshifter, and fuck knows what would happen, even if she said okay to the experiment.
All small boys think skeletons are important. Those and dinosaurs and sharks.
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 05:33 am (UTC)and -bugs- it seems. Has Miles shown you Ed The Cicada yet?
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 05:39 am (UTC)And yes, I've met Ed. Miles came by to get me to promise Frank wouldn't eat him. That's one big ugly bug - perfect for a small boy. ;)
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 05:50 am (UTC)Miles loves Ed. I wonder if Ed and Manuel have met? The red eyes and all, I would be suprised if he had not introduced them.
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 05:52 am (UTC)Um, I'm not sure. Manny's power works on animals, sort of - you should see him and Frank together, it's a right laugh - but if he started reacting to the whole cicada orgy that's going on out there, I think I'd have noticed. ;)
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 05:54 am (UTC)I am just suprised that Miles has not introduced Ed to Manny yet. He seemed quite intent on introducing his new bug friend to everyone else. Took me quite by suprise with it.

Date: 2004-06-06 06:06 am (UTC)You don't? Clothes, food, a lizard, activities best left undescribed...
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 06:14 am (UTC)You forgot emotions and the occasional dream. Apparently the link's getting deeper and we're starting to get into each other's heads. It's... unsettling. But the magic's still my own, tho'. ;)

Date: 2004-06-06 06:24 am (UTC)Not if _I_ have anything to say about it...
Date: 2004-06-06 06:28 am (UTC)Could be downright tragic.

Date: 2004-06-06 06:31 am (UTC)I'm an empath
Date: 2004-06-06 06:32 am (UTC)I will _find_ a way. I like living on my own. It's not like we don't have a dozen or more unused rooms - it's silly to make people quad-up when entire _wings_ of this house go unused.

Date: 2004-06-06 06:18 am (UTC)Are you and Manuel going to be allright?
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 06:26 am (UTC)It's odd, I thought I'd be a lot more freaked out by the idea of having someone in my head, but I'm not. It's... sort of nice, actually.
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 06:29 am (UTC)I can kind of see that it might be reassuring. It would certainly give one the chance to remove some doubts...
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 06:36 am (UTC)Yeah, 's good especially with the dreams. Tho' it does set up a whole bunch of new doubts in exchange for the old ones. *wry grin* Still, I wouldn't want it gone.
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 06:41 am (UTC)Remember that discussion we had...
Date: 2004-06-06 06:34 am (UTC)You just crossed it.
Manuel
Ah.
Date: 2004-06-06 06:41 am (UTC)Email?
It wasn't exactly something I wanted to share
Date: 2004-06-06 06:44 am (UTC)They don't need to know, and I don't want to get jerked around because somebody saw an opportunity to take me down a few notches.

Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-06 04:51 pm (UTC)I know Harry Potter isn't real, but I thought some of the stuff might have some basis in reality...? Guess not. But it would be cool if you could float candles!
Re: *grins*
Date: 2004-06-07 12:28 am (UTC)The thing about magic is, most people won't believe it's real. Messes with their world view or something. Of course, we don't exactly advertise, either, mainly because the Salem witch-hunts weren't that long ago, and all that was just too much wacky ergot fungus from mouldy rye bread. Real witches and such tend to wig people out - except when it's in a kid's book, that is.
The other part is that magic is hard, and pretty dangerous - Harry Potter gets up me nose because it makes it look as easy as waving a stick around. :P
Candles - let me know when and where and I'll float them to your heart's content. *grins*
