...Insects communicate. I don't know if the "dance language" they talk about for bees is something your power would work on, and I don't know what cicadas might have to say... but they do make an annoying noise. Maybe you hear it better?
They've been bugging the crap out of me every time I try and walk through the woods, I'll say that much.
And Doug? You've been pushing your power a hell of a lot lately playing Human Decoder Ring and playing around with languages from the future and stuff. Maybe you just got stuck "open" enough to tune in on the Cicada Porn Channel?
And on top of that, he's got a pretty darn nifty power. :)

I'm gonna go find my cute dork and . . . darnit. "Cicadas Getting It On" is not the soundtrack I want for a nice walk in the woods. Maybe we'll just watch TV.
