No, this game is like a few thousand years before the movies so there are Jedi all over the place. And I totally am one. I've always wanted a lightsaber!

Well, not everyone's a Jedi. You can be a trooper or a smuggler on the republic side.

On the Imperial side you just wear a lot of eye shadow and kill everyone for outliving their usefulness or something.

They are the sith, but there's more than the sith too - you can be a bounty hunter or an Agent (which is the only class they have without boatloads of evil eye shadow) and stuff. Maybe I'll try it later. But you know, I could show you all this stuff. :D And you could roll a character. ^.^
