How sad is it that my first thought upon reading that was "Wow, a zombie invasion probably wouldn't even cause most of us to bat an eyelid at this point"? :)

This isn't even so much "tempting fate" as "leaving it a plate of milk and cookies with a note that says Please, come do awful violent things to us all, we'd really like it". If we get zombies, you get to fight them.

....who are you and what have you done with Illyana?!!?

What part of "not wanting to combat zombies" is uncharacteristic of me, exactly? Or was it the transference of zombie-fighting duties that got to you? And again, I don't believe I've ever shown any interest in cleaning up someone else's zombie mess, particularly when they practically invite the mess to come and stay for tea. I don't like zombies. I don't like supernatural creatures of darkness. This healthy attitude has kept me alive many times.

Though you and I do have a long history where I say words and you fail to grasp their meaning, so I suppose I should be comforted by this little reminder of the status quo.

well, I'd think you'd be right up there for creating, summoning or controlling the zombies, is all o'mistress of the dusk.

you never cease to amaze me though - see, my comment actually had more to do with the fact that I AGREED with you than with me thinking you liked zombies. but you rock the mis-reading. go you!

Mistress of the dusk!?

Also, the fact that we've agreed on anything is deeply disturbing.

I think "Mistress of the Slightly-Dim" would be a more apt moniker, actually.

Gosh, Forge, and here I'd so missed your wit and charm. Typically you've, shall we say, "missed the boat" on the mistress-of thing, hilarious though I'm sure it is, but I suppose this is only to be expected from you. Don't take it too hard; I'm sure you'll think of another joke sometime.
