There's a rumor that this fascinating manuscript of arcane symbols or whatever is a hoax, or at the least, the symbols have no meaning.

Which, you know, they could have found out just by coming to the mutant pattern recognizer.

The "it's fine" thing is an internet meme from World of Warcraft. The actual meme is "it's fine, lrn2play". lrn = learn. People tell each other to "lrn2play" a lot on the WoW forums, because the WoW forums are pretty much the collective intellectual level of about five years old.

My power tends naturally towards being memetic, and it amuses me to use it slightly and sparingly in self-deprecating fashion.

Were I to truly try to emulate them, my posts would be liberally sprinkled with the use of "lol" as punctuation, juvenile accusations of homoerotic tendencies, and discussion of Chuck Norris.

Rest assured, my brain has not degenerated to that level at all.
