Miles and I have figured out that there's something wonky going on with my power. The Professor has graciously allowed me to use the Box to try and get a nap in. Hopefully it'll work, since we're not really sure if my power is technically psi...

UPDATE: Am awake. Feeling a little better. Don't want to screw my sleep cycle too badly. Am headed downstairs with Miles to find a terrarium for his new bug friend.

More on the update front
May. 26th, 2004 06:10 pmOkay, so I think I owe Angelo and Kitty an apology. It apparently _is_ the cicadas driving me insane.
Miles and I went down to the basement to find a terrarium for his new cicada pet (which we have named Ed). And down in the basement, the noise was a little less. As our first experiment with Ed, Miles and I decided to test and see if it was the cicadas. And every time that Ed chirped, I got this niggling little 'ping' in the back of my head. So we went to Doc McCoy, and he's whomping up something to help with the noise, which is apparently going to look like hearing aids and broadcast some white noise at a frequency to counteract the cicada noise.
Which means I can actually get a good night's sleep tonight. Thank god.
Sorry to everyone I was snippy at during my insane period.
