It sounds like the part of Doug's brain that handles his linguistic abilities has been overstressed by the work I've had him doing these past few weeks. From the links he provided, it looks like dysphasia. He can comprehend, he just can't express. Rather interesting, although my knowledge of neurology is really limited to the central nervous system, not the brain.
