This is me.

This is me being bored.

This is me having exhausted just about every source of entertainment I can currently think of.

This is me still bored.

This is me going insane with boredom.

This should be everyone running away in fear, because there's nothing more scary than a bored hacker with a computer.

This is me laughing too much at self-mocking jokes. Because I'm bored, in case you hadn't already noticed.

This is me thinking I'm funnier than I probably am.

This is me. Yep, still bored.

You realize you are setting yourself up for errand-running, helping someone in the medical labs or extra assignments.

I thought you had lesson plans to work on, besides?

Lesson plans are pretty much done.

Am looking for entertainment, not busywork. Though busywork'll do in a pinch, I guess. Forge, need any more help with whatever it was you and Paige are working on? You got the EEPROM interface stuff already, right?

We're pretty much wrapped up with the number-crunching here. I'm about to head down to the fabrication shop to burn the EEPROMs and work on this project - if you don't mind, I could use an extra set of hands on the board, if you know your way around basic EE stuff.

Yeah. Between Mr. Summers and Doc McCoy, I know my way around most of the stuff around here. I mean, software's more my thing, obviously, but it doesn't take that much to lock a EEPROM into the reader/writer and hit a few keys to download new stuff to it.

AND! You speak Mr. Dayspring's insane gibberish language! Can you read it as well?

There was going to be a "what part of 'I read, write, and speak every language ever'" joke here, but I thought it might come off as too confrontational. Also, I tend to think I'm funnier than I am.

So, long story short, yes, I can.

Excellent. He and I kit-bashed out a schematic, but he made all his notes in that weird chicken scratch that looks more like geometry. Could use a transcription.

Schematic? For what?

...now you've got me curious. I'll be right down.

...want to do something. I have stuff to do and don't want to do it.

Could you vague that up a little more? :) Going to help Forge a bit in the lab, but if you need help with something, find me a little later?

This is me running in the opposite direction of you.

I dunno, I bet I could give you a run for your money on the scary thing, at least on a local level. At least with a hacker you know all you have to avoid is computers. ;) Up for some video gaming once you and Forge are through getting your geek on?
