So, um, remembered to pick up my comics today for the first time in about...well, since October. So yeah. That many comics? Kind of pricy. But at least I've got reading material for the foreseeable future...

I totally shouldn't be up right now but it's okay 'cause it's break...

What did you get!? I got to go out today too! I wasn't able to get that much though. I picked up some of the older stuff, like the mini they did with t he Huntress.

Oh wait... I'm Doreen, hi!

Dude, seriously, just torrent that shit.

But...torrents are hard to read! It's not the same thing as actually having the book!

Besides... isn't that... illegal?

Illegal is in the eye of the beholder.

Um... no.

I'm pretty sure it's not in the eye of the beholder. I think it's more what the law says and stuff.

Laws are open to interpretation. And what really matters isn't what's legal or illegal, but what's right or wrong. They're not synonymous.

Well, I know that, but it's not fair to the people who work hard on them to just download them!

I got a metric crapton of books. Most of DC (at least I'll be able to read all this Lantern War stuff in one large clump rather than individual issues), a fair amount of manga, and a few independents.

(seriously, they had two whole pullboxes of my stuff. I'm amazed they kept them for me.)

And hi, Doreen. A belated welcome.

There's a difference between reading on a computer screen and holding the books in your hands.

The Lantern war stuff is actually really good! I didn't get the books though, but I read some of it at the store on Wednesday. And some manga is good, some is just weird. I like the Kenshin manga... that's okay, so is Naruto, a bit. But only because Ninja are awesome.

And a lot of places do keep stuff like forever. I felt bad when I had to tell the store back home to stop holding stuff for me, but I haven't been able to afford anything in months.

If you want, you can borrow mine when I'm done.

Oh god, Naruto. Knowing people who have had not-so-great experiences with ninja kind of skews my opinion, I guess.

Yeah, you can't take a computer into the bathroom while you're taking a crap.

Well yes, but I wasn't going to say it in quite that way.

You're welcome!

Well, I know that real ninja =/= Naruto Ninja. Either way, you shouldn't go around killing people like a real ninja would. It wouldn't be good. It's just a story.

It's better than Sailor Moon - though I like the talking cats in there, does that make me a dork? There was this one cat movie that came out awhile back that made no sense... but it basically a little cat and a big cat and the underworld or something?

Oh! What did you think of the Iron Man movie? And did you get to see Watchmen? I haven't yet. :(

Well, I've seen Iron Man, just not Watchmen.

And you'd let me borrow them! Awesome! I promise I'll be totally careful with them. :D
