Whee!

Weddings!

This is the part where I go dig my tux out. Or is tux too formal for the generic guest list, do you think?

Am I the only guy who doesn't object to getting into a shirt and tie? I _like_ dressing up. (Just not in a dress, Lorna.)

And now I go to attempt to shovel coffee into Angie. She's on one of those "there is not enough coffee in the world to get me out of bed" kicks.

'm awake now.

Barely.

Doug, man, sorry to have to be the one to break it to you, but you're some kind of unnatural and disturbing aberration. Like a beholder. In a tie. Think about that one.

And see, if that was me, I'd just put a dupe on each corner of the bed, take the bottom sheet off the mattress with her still in it, and run through the halls. Who needs coffee when you have quadriphonic cackling madmen?

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 02:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Does the tie match the beholder's eyes? It could look quite nice if it matched.

I'm still trying to figure out if superglue would have to be involved.

And which eyes? I doubt they're all the same color.

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 03:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I imagine it would be the large one if the rest did not match. Hrm.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 03:20 pm (UTC)(link)
If at any point today I find myself followed around the house by a tie-clad mini-beholder, I'll know who to wreak revenge on even if the tie doesn't match. :)

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 03:23 pm (UTC)(link)
If I could figure out how to make a imaged beholder fly, I would do just that.

Sadly, this one is just laying here on the ground and not moving.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Do it like a little hovercraft, maybe? Air intake through the mouth, and then a little fan gadget inside that expels it back out the bottom fast enough to hold the little guy up? You could use that layered-drawing idea, maybe.

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 03:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I think I would have to draw the pieces seperatly and then put them together, but that worked for the lawnmower...

This is going to take work..

[identity profile] x-cypher.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 02:53 pm (UTC)(link)
But see, I don't have the quadriphonic cackling madmen (except as roommates), so I have to make do with coffee bribes. Besides, in the long run, that gets me less smacks upside the head, anyways. :)

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 03:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Make do? Make do? Pshaw. I am not above doing the occasional favor for my friends.

Besides, all smacking me upside the head does is make more of me. :)

[identity profile] x-cypher.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, also, in the long run? A lack of quadriphonic cackling madmen gets me more play. I wasn't going to come right out and say it, but... ;-)

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, fine, if you're gonna be like that about it . . .

I'll just have to do it on my own time. :)

[identity profile] x-kitten.livejournal.com 2005-05-04 11:55 am (UTC)(link)
And I become really glad that I don't have trouble waking up in the mornings, except after an all nighter in the labs, and you know better than to do something like this after an all nighter in the labs.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2005-05-04 01:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I do know better.

Unless I find out you're pulling all-nighters in the labs specifically to avoid being woken up in interesting ways. Then all bets are off. ;)

Will keep this in mind. -g-

Some of us enjoy having a suit that fits. Good to have an excuse to wear it that ain't a funeral.
