10 things that I have learned here at the mansion.

1. Kevlar does _not_ work like it does in movies.
2. Cicadas actually communicate, and have a limited sort of language. And it gives me an absolutely raging headache.
3. Magic actually exists.
4. Flying is the coolest thing ever.
5. Sometimes the nerdy guy gets the girl and saves the day.
6. "Never get into a prank war with Jamie" should be right up there with "Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line."
7. In Vegas, the house doesn't _always_ win.
8. Alison Blaire is the coolest music teacher ever.
9. Mr. Summers is not to be trifled with.
10. I just might be fluent in as many forms of communication as C3PO. :)

1: Well, duh. It's a fabric, not an ablative surface like everyone seems to pretend it is in Hollywood. It's meant to avoid cuts, punctures, and perforations - not absorb impact. It's also what sheathes the inside of my implants so my body doesn't reject them and stuff.

Geez, and people wonder why I tend not to watch movies.

Regarding number four: I don't think I would go that far, but it is quite enjoyable.
