For my own reference:

1st-Comp Sci
2nd-Calculus
3rd-Physics
4th-Beginning Self-Defense
5th-Mutant Acceptance
6th-AP English
7th-Defensive Driving
Training None, considering we still haven't established if I'm even a mutant, much less have a power.

Notes: So I spend the entire morning with Dr. McCoy, the middle of the day with Ms. Braddock, and wind up with Mr. Summers for driving. Also, some days I really wish I had your ability, Jamie. There are several periods where I wish I could take two classes at the same time. Alas. I especially wish I could take Intro to Mechanical Engineering, but I think I need calculus a bit more.

Also, anyone wanting study help/tutoring in math or any of the languages being offered, I'm more than willing to help out. I speak Spanish, French, and German, and I can fake Latin enough due to my speaking all the Romance languages which derive from it. I'm also kind of a math geek, and physics as well.

I have a feeling I'm going to suck at self-defense. Basically the only self-defense I know is the run away fast school. But defensive driving could be a lot of fun. I have my license, but I don't really feel all that confident in my ability to drive yet.

Well, you can look at my notes--or, well, okay, not really, but you can listen to me talk about my classes, since we're only in Beginning Get Hit A Lot together. I still haven't managed to take any of Mr. Summers' classes, which sucks, because they look cool.

Physics is fun, though, and Mutant Acceptance is interesting.

I'm so going to need your help in algebra. Why the hell do I need to know what x is equal too...*whimper*

Looks like we've got comp sci and phys together. Wonder what Dr. McCoy is planning on going over in class. Last term he had to split the class so he ended up teaching several different classes in one section.

Still wish they'd offer maths above Calc.

YES!

Exactly that!

If X would just stop changing what it is, it would be a lot less confusing!

That's what you're supposed to find out. X is like the blank in fill-in-the-blank questions, and 'twould be an awful mess if those were all the same, wouldn't it?

That's what Mr. Summers said.

I still don't have to like it though.

Oh.

Well.

Sorry.

I know that it is useful. I just don't understand it and so I feel really stupid. :(

Precisely. Oh and the when all the others letter want to involve tehmselves in equations. That is the worse---how can you add x and y?

No, what is worse is when its x, y, and like, three real numbers and than one of those little ones at the top that means multiply it by itself that many times.

Only its an X, so its multiply it by itself x times which is confusing!

Maybe we can BRIBE him to explain this.

A bribe might just do the trick...What do you have in mind?

Food?

I didn't really have anything in mind. I was hoping you had an idea.

Doug?

How bribable are you?

If I ask really, really nicely

Can you help me with Algebra?

See, though, I'm flabbergastingly easy to bribe with food. My grandpa used to accuse me of having a hollow leg, up until my dad asked him to cut it out because I kept hitting my legs with things trying to figure out which one it was.

I betcha puppy eyes would work on Doug though. :)

(Make the brownies anyway, though, okay? That way when you give him the brownies, then do the puppy eyes, I can steal brownies while he recovers from the shock.)

You are so weird.

I really am. It's genetic. My mom decided she wanted to be a country vet instead of a neurosurgeon, my dad double-majored in agricultural science and English lit, Grandpa Madrox was the kind of guy who teaches six-year-olds how to make coffee and swear in Welsh, and Grandpa Jessup did chainsaw whittling. It's really a good thing I'm a mutant, otherwise I wouldn't be weird enough.

And are you kidding me, here? You and Jubilee, in tandem? Just make sure you back him up next to a chair first so he lands on something soft when his knees give way.

Nope nothing yet, but I went to talk to him yesterday and he didn't really need any bribing. Have you asked him?

Yeah, yeah. We all know Doug has a weakness for cute girls that bat their eyes and ask nicely for help. Yadda yadda. ;-)

...and I need to stop referring to myself in the third person.

...and I need to stop writing journal entries and comments like I'm talking to myself.

*chuckle*

Or, y'know, start hissing to yourself too.

'Course, then everybody would start wondering what you were calling "Precious." It'd just end badly.

Gollum.

I thought you meant at first that it was Parselmouth.

You know, I had a really strange dream about Doug being Harry Potter...
